Boveda Humidity Packets
SKU
ACC-BOVEDA
You've used the Humidipak technology for years. The technolgy which was only available before by purchasing humidor bags from Fuente Newman is now available in packet form and sized to work in your humidor. You can use these in any container you choose, but inside your humidor they are designed to last approximately 3 months. The Boveda packets are available at three different RH levels to allow you to select the level for aging your cigars that you prefer. All packets will maintain the selected humidity with a maximum variance of 2%. Boveda packets have a built in reverse osmosis membrane which guarantees the cleanest water vapor possible. This allows water vapor to pass through the walls but does not pass any liquid which means they can be laid right on top of your cigars without any side effects. To select the proper number of packets for your humidor, you use 1 packet for every 50 cigars + 1 packet. For example: a 100 ct. humidor would require 3 packets while a 150 ct humidor would require 4 packets. ***They are designed to last approximately 3 months. The actual length of time will vary depending upon how dry your cigars are, the seal of the container that you use, how frequently you open the container, your ambient humidity, temperature and other factors.

The Boveda humidity packs work great , secret is to use the humidifier sponge that came with your humidor too . They work great together at maintaining 70% and this way you don't need as many Boveda packs .

I've long had trouble keeping the humidity level (probably because my humidor is junk) and this is the only product that has ever worked -- and I've tried just about everything including the electric ones.

Cheap and easy to use. When the packet is no longer squishy, throw it out and put a new one in.

I've used Boveda for some time now. I stopped using my wood humidor. To much air leakage.
I buy peanuts in the large plastic containers. There perfect for coronas. I put in 2 Bovedas 72%'s and they last for six months. I use a digital humidity gage to monitor the humidity and it's dead on using an air tight container. I open the container once every two weeks to exchange the inside air and humidity. My cigars or fresh as fresh can be.
Try using a different container to prolong the life of your cigars. I have 2 beautiful wood humidors sitting empty. Use 40 oz. peanut jars or larger with the Boveda bags. You'll be amazed at how fresh your cigars will stay.

They work pretty good but you have to put 4 in a 150 count humidor to get them close to the advertised humidity. I have never to my 72% packs to reach 70%. Furthermore, they don't last 3 months. Barely over two.
